DETAILED ARRANGEMENTS

REFERENCE MOVEMENTS OF 9th & 7th INF. BDES.

INTO ASSEMBLY TRENCHES ON NIGHT OF

15th/16th June.

                1.      Diagram showing allotment of assembly trenches to 9th and 7th Inf. Bdes. is attached.

                2.      The 9th and 7th Inf Bdes will send the following, to be at 8th Inf. Bde. Headquarters at ECOLE, East of                 Ypres, at 8.30 p.m. tonight.

                One Officer and eight men per battalion (of which four men are to act as markers on night of 15th/16th, and four                 men as local guides). This amends previous instructions. These parties will remain in trenches of Middlesex and                 Royal Scots.

                3.    The order of march of the various columns named in March Table attached to Operation Order No: 13                 will be :-

                Detail No 1.    9th Inf Bde. Left column.

                                       R. Scots Fusiliers.

                                       5th Fusiliers.

                                       Cheshire Fd Co R.E.

                                       Liverpool Scottish.

 

                Detail No 2.    9th Inf. Bde. Right column.

                                       Royal Fusiliers.

                                       Lincolns.

 

                Detail No 3.    Wilts regiment (7th Inf. Bde.).       

 

                Detail No 4.    2 battalions 7th Inf. Bde.        Left Column.

                                       R. I. Rifles.

                                       4th South Lancs.

 

                Detail No 5.    2 battalions 7th Inf. Bde.      Right Column.

                                       H.A.C.

   Worcesters.

                      4.    The guides detailed by 8th Inf. Bde. To meet battalions at starting points laid down in Div. March Table,                 Operation Order No 13, will lead battalions to the following rendezvous where they will be met by their own                 regimental guides.

 

                      Detail No 1.    To N.W Corner of RAILWAY WOOD.

                Detail No 2.    To BIRR cross roads.

                Detail No 3.    Mutual arrangements between Wilts & Suffolks.

                Detail No 4.    To N.W. Corner of RAILWAY WOOD.
